Winter at the Beach
Now that the summer season is getting started, I was thinking about my last visit to the beach. It was a mid January trip and I found myself with a bit of time, between appointments, and not far from the ocean. I headed east to Point Pleasant NJ and parked in an empty parking lot. It was a bit strange as I knew this same location would be packed with cars in six months time. From my great spot in the parking lot it was but a few steps to the boardwalk.
When I walked up over the edge of the point where I could see across the boardwalk and down to the beach, I saw that the beach was covered in snow. I don’t think I have ever seen that as I I have only been to the beach, or Point Pleasant, a few times during the winter.
