Whatever you do, never oblige or push yourself to go further since doing so will only heighten your chances of getting into an accident and such.

If in case you do not the money to shell out, just pull your car over and then call someone close to you, like a friend, family member, colleague etc. that you can talk to. It would also be best if this someone knows the problem that you are facing.

3.) Practice positive affirmations. This is an effective driving anxiety treatment. Keep telling yourself that nothing wrong is going to happen and that you are a good and responsible driver. You will get more confident if you do so. As a suggestion, try to put these positive statements into writing and place them on highly noticeable areas onboard your car or you can also start saying such statements out loud. This will condition your mind and drastically reduce the chances of panic or anxiety attacks from occurring.

4.) Try driving with your window open. The taste of fresh air can help rid your mind of negative ideas. Take slow deep breathes as this is great in relaxing your weary mind.
