The Dog And The Beach Umbrella
On a hot summers Saturday, me and all my friends decided to go down to the beach. It was about an hours drive to get there. But we had one problem. Not one of us had a beach umbrella to take. So on the way we stoped at a beach shop to pick up a few. We came out with 3 big beach umbrellas, put them in the car, and headed of to the beautiful sandy beach.
When we got there, we unloaded the truck and got out all our lunch and things. There was a little dog that ran up and jumped up in the truck and started barking at us. It was so cute. We all looked to see if it had a collar but there was nothing there. I couldn’t bare the thought of it getting locked up in a pound, so I decided one of us should keep it.
I was the only one without a pet, so I took it home to see if my parents would let me keep it. When we got home it started rolling around everywhere wagging its tail. My parents fell in love with it as well, so they decided to let me keep it. That night she slept in my room. When I woke up the little dog wasn’t in the room and I got really worried. I ran downstairs trying to find it. I went outside and there on the ground asleep was the dog and next to it was a ripped up beach umbrella.
