Reasons to Start Homeschooling
There are a lot of different views of homeschooling with people full of opinions on both sides. It isn’t easy and it should be considered carefully before you jump on board there are a number of great reasons to choose homeschooling.
You can offer your child a superior education. Time limits, teaching methods, and other students all make the school day a long one. Studies have shown that homeschoolers learn the same amount and up to twice as much information in half the amount of time as students in school all day.
The average homeschooler spends four to five hours on school work a day, five days a week. This is 20 to 25 hours. Compare that to 7 to 8 hours a day for a total of 35 to 40 hours a day and you will see why homeschooling families love having the ability to do other things during the day.
Many people love that their family units grow stronger from the very moment they start homeschooling. By learning together and teaching one another you will find that your family can get closer together.
These are just a few of the many reasons to start homeschooling. There are really a lot of different answers and finding the answers that work for you is best.
