Prolapsed Hemorrhoids

Health & Fitness

A prolapsed hemorrhoid is an internal hemorrhoid that becomes so swollen and distended that it pushes out of the anal cavity. In most instances, internal hemorrhoids are perfectly harmless and usually quite painless, but at the point that it becomes a prolapsed hemroid, it is going to cause a lot of additional problems. At this point, it can become quite painful to deal with and may require medical treatment. Not all prolapsed hemorrhoids require surgery but it is at this point that a case of easy managed hemroids may become a little more difficult to manage. If surgery does become necessary, this is not something to worry about; there are many surgical options that offer minimal discomfort and quick recovery times. As with all medical conditions, it’s always recommended that you get a doctor’s opinion before starting any over the counter hemroid treatment on your own.
