How To Lose Weight With Detox Cleanse Program

Detoxing can be defined as the act of ridding the body of harmful toxic and other unhealthy substances. When a person goes through a detox cleanse process, the body becomes healthier, the person feels more energetic, this is all to due with the body beginning to function the way it’s supposed to. Another perk of a detox cleanse is that it can help you shed off a few pounds.  A detoxification cleanse is very simple and there are only few steps that you need to follow in order to ensure your success.

  • First and foremost before starting any diet or weight loss program you need to consult your physician. Get the go ahead from him and then start the planning stage for your diet. This is even more important for people with high blood sugar, heart problems, or any other illness that can be affected by a change in diet.
  • For any detox diet to be effective one must eat natural, fresh and if possible organic foods (mostly fruits and vegetables). This allows the body to get rid of the toxins without you adding more toxins in the form of the food that you were eating. Otherwise, all the hard work that you are putting in will not amount to anything in terms of detoxification. Eating these type of foods will also allow you to lose weight as they contain far less calories than the normal foods that you may be eating. Other foods that should be consumed include, brown rice, beans, lean meat, unsalted nuts, unsalted seeds, and brown pasta. Foods like, fried, meat, fries, cakes, donuts, coffee and white rice, should be avoided.
  • During this whole process you will be required to drink lots of water and juices made from fresh fruits and vegetables.
  • You should use this diet for a span of at least two days and no more than seven days in order for the detoxification process to be effective and success. Once you have finished your detoxification diet you should ease yourself back into eating normal foods as slowly as possible. Also, try to avoid any of the high fat or processed foods that you were eating in the past.
  • Another important thing is exercise. During this period it is advised to do a few light exercises such a walking, light jogging, and stretches. Don’t go overboard if you are feeling weak
