Growing Up In MLM
Growing up my parent’s tried as many ways to make money as possible. They were the neighborhood AMWAY distributors and after that faded in popularity, tried multiple other multi-level marketing businesses. From an early age I can remember meetings and “opportunity presentations” in our living room. They actually did pretty well, but could never seem to get over that major income hump of ten-thousand or more on a monthly basis. Many times it seemed once they reach a particular level, organization of their downline was nearly impossible. There were so many sales and people involved, that Mom and Dad would spend nearly all their time trying to deliver products to the right people on time, instead of brining more people on board.
Today’s self-employed marketing professional has it much easier with many different options in using free MLM software to keep themselves organized. My Mom and Dad are retired now, but they often wonder how things would have gone if they would have had an adequate organizational system back in the day.
