Factors For Breast Augmentation

Health & Fitness

There are two factors that drive women to have breast augmentation procedures. One is for medical reasons. This is true for incidents of trauma or cancer necessitating breast removal and henceforth, the breast implant surgery. The other factor would be the desire to enhance the bodily appearance and something that is purely aesthetics. A lot of women today are putting a great deal on how they should look. Breast augmentation is just one of the many procedures where women exert efforts to achieve a certain look. They may be not confident with what they have or maybe they do not feel comfortable with it. Breast augmentation before and after photos could illustrate how far a woman could go just to look good. It is a mirror of a woman’s insecurities with her own body and how she deals with it. Getting breast augmentation procedure often results to a woman’s greater self-esteem and confidence. Other people could simply look at it as a total waste of money but you could never dictate a girl when she should feel insecure and what she should be insecure about. More so, beauty enhancements do not cross the limits of what is ethical. It is something that does not amount to even the most complex of mathematical formulations and something where formal logic may struggle with its efforts to understand it. Simply put, there is nothing really wrong with it. The photos of breast augmentation reflect two cultural elements prevalent in our society today and most probably, also in the past. The first would be male chauvinism. Men usually think that it is not proper for women to have ‘flat’ chests as it is a characteristic that is more applicable for males. There is a lot of teasing experienced by girls even at an early age coming from the boys and this actually and effectively curve down the self-esteem the girls have. The second cultural element would be male domination.
