Does your brand has everything it takes to launch an iPod alternative?

The iPod is already synonymous with the word “mp3 player”, that can’t be denied but this doesn’t means there aren’t products and brands out there that can act like an iPod alternative. It’s not easy but it’s doable, that’s sure. So let’s see what a brand must accomplish to have a chance at attacking the position the iPod lineup holds for over 7 years:
• That particular brand must have been established for some time, or a brand which is already famous for its audio product lineups
• The product they want to impose on market must be heavily advertised on all media channels, as it won’t get the same press coverage a new Apple product does
• Must be helped up by a music, applications, movies store with plenty of hot media
