If you made a mistake with your tattoo and want to get rid of it you may be tempted to try some of the tattoo removal creams that are on the market and advertised widely online. I’ve done some research on tattoo removal myself and when I looked at the creams, lotions, and topical liquids that are sold for tattoo removal, I found that every reputable doctor (like the Mayo Clinic) says there is no scientific evidence that they work. This is a shame, partly because they are so expensive.

If you really want to get rid of your tattoo that is what you should do. It isn’t cheap and it isn’t instant, but laser removal will usually be able to get rid of your tattoo completely with no scarring.
So if you are thinking about buying a tattoo removal cream, don’t do it. Save your money towards laser treatments instead. You won’t regret it.
