Different Types of Outdoor Lounge Chairs

The great thing about lounge chairs is that there is one for every occasion. For example, if you’re out camping (possibly at a music festival) you can get a camping lounge chair, or if you’re at the beach you can often rent a beach lounge chair (or you can buy one yourself and bring it with you).
The reason that there are a few different types of portable lounge chair is because different environments and settings require different types of char. For example, because most beaches are sandy you want your beach chair to dig into the sand so that it gets firmly set (so that it’s stable and supportive). On the other hand, the legs on camping chairs need to be a bit more spread out, so that they cover a greater surface area. The reason for this is because most camping grounds are essentially large muddy fields (depending on where you are) so it’s better to have a chair that will spread out your weight more evenly so you don’t sink into the ground.
When choosing a portable chair you’ll often have to make a decision between comfort and portability/practicality. Generally, the bigger a chair is the more comfortable it is to sit on, but the more space it takes up making it more difficult to carry around. Many camping lounge chairs come with armrests with built in pockets. These are ideal for when you’re sitting back, relaxing and having a refreshing beverage or two, since they give you an ideal place to rest your drink. This is especially helpful as many campsites don’t have particularly flat ground surfaces. When choosing a beach chair, you’ll often have to choose between two different styles – wood and metal (usually aluminum). Wooden chairs will give you a more traditional look, but metal ones are almost always lighter and easier to carry.
