The easiest thing to do is use them to give other gifts away! I keep a variety of boxes in my attic to use in case I find a gift I want to give away that doesn’t have an appropriate box to keep it in. This happens more than you might realize, especially if you or your wife go to garage sales or discount stores that sell things without their original packaging!

Another thing you can use them for is for long term storage. I have a large collection of video games, and so I’m always looking for something to use for additional video game storage. These boxes often fit the bill, especially if they’re plastic or if they seal very well. Come to think of it, computer parts in general can be stored pretty well in these kinds of boxes, as they’re often flat and wide, like computer cards or internal parts.

Finally, make some specialty cardboard gift boxes to give away. Either decorate them yourself with wrapping paper or by drawing on them, or have your kids or family do it for you. You’ll end up with something that is truly unique, and will delight the person you end up giving them to.

It doesn’t take a lot of creativity to find a new, special way to reuse the gift boxes left over from Christmas, birthdays, or any other special occasion. Before you just throw them in the trash, ask yourself if you can find another use for them instead. You may surprise yourself.

Storage boxes come in a lot of different sizes and are often multipurpose. You can use them for storing clothes, spices and everything in between. Effective storage is the key to a clutter free home. If you live in a small apartment, you can stack up storage boxes in different colors – these will not look ugly or out of place and yet, you’ll be able to save space!

Plastic storage is considered ideal by women across the world because unlike metal, plastic does not rust and is weather resistant as well. The other advantage of using plastic is that you can store anything in it and just forget about it! Unlike wood or metal, you will never have to worry about your stored items getting moth eaten or spoiled.

Pink plastic storage is great if you want to personalize your home since it is obviously much better than using a simple clear plastic box.

If you have a small bathroom, then redesigning it might be hard as you will want to have plenty of space. There is one drastic solution and that is fit a corner bathtub. The benefit of changing the shape of your bathtub is that you will use those hard to reach places that you did not use anyway. It might take a little more effort and creativity to make a corner vanity work properly in a bathroom, what with mirrors, storage, and cabinets, but any savvy home owner can make it work and absolutely love the final product.

The path leading up to the front door had a bunch of these little lights embedded in the dirt. It was very pleasant. All the other houses looked like they needed to be demolished, but not this one. That is the power of garden lights, my friends. They truly change everything for the better, including the flowers. And isn’t that just what we are looking for?

That’s why these are such a great addition to anyone’s home stylings. Once spring comes around every year you will definitely want to have it all set up already. Now, the first thing you’ll want to do is go to Lowe’s or Home Depot and pick yourself up some garden lights so that you can illuminate the foliage.

This is just how these things work. If you don’t buy ‘em then you can’t try them. No one is going to lend any to you because then they’d have to dig them up out of their own yard. That would be detrimental to their own lawn.

This cheap rooming house has more surprises than I would have thought. I have the only room up on the fourth floor. I take the narrow little scrungy stairway down when I go out to the cafes, and I see a lot, way more than the residents on the lower floors.

I’ve been here a week now, and I’ve managed to peek into most of the rooms. I can tell you that here is a surprising difference in décor and quality of furnishings.

I probably have the most modest room. Blue and white striped wallpaper.  That’s good, but I don’t have a nice table like the other rooms.  I have a beat-up little bitty wooden table with plenty of cigarette burns.

Just yesterday I got my first look into the beautiful large room on the second floor. It was at the top of the stairs and the door was standing wide open. I could see a glass table and chairs

One of the great new ideas that has recently taken the home improvement market by storm is temporary window shades.  Made of paper, these shades are designed as a short term measure for people who have just moved house, to enable them to get some privacy and cover their bare windows until they can buy more expensive new blinds.

One of my favorite brands is Redi Shade, which you can get from most superstores, as well as online from major internet retailers.  I particularly like this brand as they are one of the few retailers that doesn’t only sell white temporary blinds – you can also get Redi Shades in black, and in a variety of sizes – good for houses with non-standard windows.  I’m still waiting for multicolored versions though!

First of all you need to decide on what kind you want. Do you want a traditional oak table, a glass one, or even a lift top coffee table? This will depend largely on the type of decorations you have in the house but also on your budget.

Secondly, do you have young kids? If so having a large piece of unprotected glass in the living room may not be a good idea, so make sure you take this into account when buying a coffee table.
