Best Army Toys 2010

Most kids dream about what they want to be when they grow up – and if your kid is fantasizing about being in the army, there are many products out there which will allow them to safely indulge their passion. Some of this season’s army toys are more realistic than ever, so until they can enroll, just get on the net and kit your little troopers out!
Dressing up has always been a basic feature of army play, and it’s now possible for your kids to look just like the soldiers they admire. One of the best options around is a full kit – trousers, tee shirt, helmet AND authentic assault vest in one package, so no need to spend more on extras. The assault vest in particular is great for your little soldiers – loads of pockets for all those toy guns, pretend knives and other not-so-deadly weapons!
There is also some really fantastic outdoor equipment out there in the toy army sector this year. Great value is the pop-up-tent-style camo color Military Fortress, which has several tunnels and entrances, perfect for soldiers who like to hide out. Even more sophisticated is the Sniper Den kit, which comes complete with camo net, tent, sandbags and sniper sign. What more could a young marksman in training wish for?
Finally, if your child’s army toy wishes are not quite as grand, there are lots of small yet comprehensive equipment bundles on offer. A great gift option for an army-mad child is a Camo selection box, containing a selection of toy soldiers, dog tags, hat and toy gliders, all in their own storage box. Another fun one is the Jungle Explorer kit – everything a young soldier could possibly need, including water bottle, compass, waterproof notebook and lots more besides. But surely there’s only one army legend every kid wants to be? That’s right – Rambo! Grenades, AK-47 and bullet belt – right on!
