A Time When You Don’t Need a Seattle Traffic Lawyer

I like helping people out with traffic tickets. They are a pain to deal with, in many situations can lead to exorbitant car insurance rates, and out and out seem unfair (any one who’s received a ticket in traffic knows what I’m talking about – how’d they pick your car out of the many that are all driving over the speed limit?). But, there is a time when you don’t really need a Seattle traffic lawyer for help. And I’m going to tell you about it.
The primary time you don’t need a traffic lawyer for help, and a time when I wouldn’t even use one, is if you don’t have any traffic history in the past and/or you are eligible for the deal I will explain in a moment. The reason is, if you hire some traffic attorneys, they’ll simply take your money, get you this deal, and act like they just saved your life (not all will, but some will). The truth is, you can do this on your own. All it takes is a little bit of your time (but you save at least $150 of attorneys fees doing it this way).
What I am talking about is a deferral. It is a system set up to give people one free pass on a speeding ticket once every 7 years (if you use it you have to wait 7 years before you can use it again). All you do is pay $100-$150, go a year without getting any more tickets, and the ticket is dismissed. Your driving record stays clean, and you didn’t have to hire a Seattle speeding ticket attorney to help.
Some people decide they don’t want to use up their deferral at this time. Some don’t like the idea of having to admit to speeding, so they still want to hire me. Of course I’m totally okay with that. I just think it’s important that everyone know their options before paying money for something you might not even need.
